Community Education

Summer Break   District 191 Summer Break/Project KIDS offers childcare for children entering Kindergarten through Grade 6 in the fall of 2024. Priority will be given to families who are enrolled in ISD 191 elementary schools until April 22, 2024.  If you are not enrolled in ISD 191 you may register at any time but your registration will be held until April 22, 2024 after which time you will be notified regarding the status of your registration.  Registration will be available mid to late March.  Typically, students at Edward Neill, Harriet Bishop, Hidden Valley and Vista View register for the Neill site, while students at Gideon Pond, Rahn, Sky Oaks and William Byrne register for the Gideon Pond site. 



The EDGE   Summer adventures for students entering grades 6-9 OR until your child turns 16 years old.  The EDGE welcomes students from Burnsville, Eagan, Savage, Lakeville, Farmington, New Prague, New Market, Prior Lake, Shakopee and other neighboring communities! We offer flexible scheduling with no minimum number of days required.  We look forward to a summer of fun activities, socializing with friends, reading, playing organized games and sports, and crafting. 



School Age Care Project KIDS  Before & After-school programming and full day care/non school days for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 at all ISD 191 Elementary Schools.  Children must be enrolled to attend ISD 191.  If enrolling in school age care, children must enroll in Project KIDS at their home school.
